No sound through my logitech G51

Hi,

I have just purchased a PC from pcspecialist (received 30/04/2025) and cannot get any sound through my speakers.

Installed:

Motherboard - ASUS® ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II (AM4, DDR4, PCIe 4.0, Wi-Fi
6E)

Sound Card - ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)

Yesterday I sent a message to tech support, I then managed to get sound through the speakers before they replied - pehaps I should of left it at that.

A few hours later I then received a reply asking if I was going to use 5.1 surround sound and a link to the motherboard audio driver to download and setup.

I went through the process which removed a driver and replaced it with another one. I restarted the pc, and lo and behold no sound again.

So I have no sound and I am wondering if anyone could please assist me with this matter.

Thanks for reading this.

Regards,
Carlton

Can you post the full specs to your machine from your order page?

If you take a look in your settings and go to the sound section (you can search for it in the search bar if easier). There are usually several options you can choose from, one of them is usually going to be called speakers (or something similar) that normally is the rear outputs on the motherboard. You can try the others to see if any of them are working.

You can check if you're configured for full 5.1 by going into 'more sound settings' in the sound section (as above) and then right clicking on the speakers and choosing 'configure speakers'.
