Not another Optimus III owner!

Hi everyone,

I've already made a pain of myself in the forums so I thought I'd drop by and introduce myself properly. You can see my spec in the overly colourful signature below :D

Massive gamer here by the way, although I've never really had a decent spec PC - mainly three year old hand me downs - so I''m looking to get into PC gaming proper now. Any recommendations?

I'm hooking the laptop up through my full HD TV and that in turn is connected to surround sound so in that respect, I'm covered! I've also got a wireless keyboard and mouse from when I had my tower. It does the job quite nicely to be fair. Equipment-wise I think I'm pretty sorted.

It was more the games themselves, as I have no idea which games are good on PC. I was recommended the Crysis series and since I'm really into FPS games, then I think I'll give that a try. Most of my games are at least five years old now :p I was wondering what series' were fun and newer.

Oh right! sorry, I thought you were looking for a new desktop or something! As for games, I'm not a gamer so can't really help you a great deal but I will try!. A popular game is Battlefield 3, one game I enjoy particularly is Home Front but as I said before, I don't game, I have only played these briefly on other people's computers

Haha don't worry! I didn't make myself particularly clear with that. I have actually played Battlefield on the 360 and I used to have Homefront before I traded it in. Thanks for that though!
