My old PC died. I have no idea what happened, but the CPU just instantly got to 90°C. I got a new AIO cooler and it didn't help.
So I thought if I'm getting a new CPU, I need a new motherboard, and then I had some annoyances like my main SSD with windows was only 256gb and I ran out of space often, so I thought I might as well upgrade.

I have a 1080Ti GPU from my old system that I'll install, as well as 32GB DDR4 3200mhz RAM that I'll swap in too.
I'm into my gaming, as well as photo editing. Wanted to keep it to around £1500 (since I'm not getting RAM or a GPU)
My CPU before was an i7-7700k, so hopefully should get some gaming improvements but not holding out for any dramatic changes since I'll be keeping the same GPU. I'm going to wait to upgrade that for when prices have calmed down a bit.
Anyway, what do you think?
