Hey guys.

I just ordered a PC from PC Specialist. It didn't ask me to make an account for my order before I actually ordered it, but they asked for my address anyway. I got an email saying everything was fine, but I now find it impossible to track my order because I have no account attached to any order on the website.

I made an account shortly afterwards with the same address I gave for the order. Is there any way I can track it now?

I sent PCS an Email basically saying the same thing. Anyone got any suggestions?

Unfortunately I had an account a few months before I ordered so I can't comment on the account on order system, the best bet is to give them a call tomorrow after 9am and they can hook the accounts together so you can track your order.

Be sure to check the call waiting times before you call, saves hanging on the phone on busy periods. http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/call-waiting/

When you place an order we ask for your email, delivery and invoice address and contact numbers. If you have placed the order you will have been sent an email confirming your order with a password to login.

I have searched for orders placed using the same email address as your forum address, and also your IP address, and cannot see any?

I used a different e-mail address to order it. I'll have a look at the email and if you want me to PM you my other email address, let me know.

EDIT: After I've read through the email properly, I see nothing telling me a password. I'll paste the email contents with important details removed. You can see that my email address starts with wlockley, so look for that in your order history. I was not asked to give a password, nor given a password during the order process.

This email indicates that you already had an account with us before placing an order. Is it possible that you created an account with us several weeks ago? Did you enter a password when you order was placed? Please go here: http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forgot/ and enter your email address. It will reset your password and email it to you.

I made an account afterwards, with the address I used to order the PC with, so it wasn't already in use.

EDIT: It's working now, for some reason. I can log in with my order address and see that the Order is bound to the account. Thanks guys. :)

Why does my order keep disappearing from my orders on my account login? It hasnt been there for a day or two now.

Your order should never dis-appear from your account. Can you let me know your order number and I will check it.

I've seen your email and I have investigated your order for you - there is no reason why your order would dis-appear from your account. Next time this happens, please take a screenshot of the "My Orders" page when your order is not showing so we can investigate this further.

Problem Solved :D

You had two accounts with us and was logging in using different passwords. If you login now your order will be showing.

And no - it won't affect your build/delivery time.
