Solid build, however not sure if I need that much storage. I thought 1.2Tb storage was good at most (1tb HDD 250gb SSD)
The smaller M.2 is for your OS and programs, the larger for your games. Dedicated OS drive keeps your system running quickly, dedicated games drive will speed up your load times... and has the added bonus of you not wiping all your games off if you need to do a re-install of Windows at any point.

I only see myself having maybe 10 games at most at once - I play FH4, CSGO, R6, Minecraft, Fortnite, Warzone, and thats probably it. I’m not a hardcore gamer who would download like 30+ games, I just play some games which I like.

To be honest I dont see myself needing more than 1.5Tb of storage since I dont have that many games I want to install. Once again, I dont play that much games where I’ll need 2Tb+ storage, so I feel that it shouldnt be a problem with 1Tb

Would this build be okay as a re-config? I’m leaning more onto the 3060 Ti mostly for futureproofing into 1440p gaming, and being able to comfortably play any game on 144+ fps on max settings. Apologies if I begin to bother you with the amount of questions I ask - I just want to be sure of the specs and not make the same mistake I made last time with the laptop I had.Fair enough, storage is a personal call

Not sure how I’d fit a 1Tb SSD into my budget - original plans were to fit all my games into a 1Tb HDD.
Standard thermal paste is high quality and more than good enough for any build

Ended up re-configuring to a 2tb HDD and 512gb SSD. I think most my games wont have issues with loading up, but with games like FH4 I can have them on the SSD. I’ll stick with the stock CPU cooler. Final Config -
