Theres plenty of good benchmarking software such as 3DMark 11 and Heaven which dont take direct control of the GPU, Furmark works in a different way.

i see alot of 3DMark 11 benchmarks normally stupidly high on evga boards id be curious to see what my score is and see how different it is to the duel processors and quad sli`s of the big boys.

Really think a mod should close this thread before someone destroys their graphics card, unless someone knows exactly what theyre doing with furmark it should be avoided liek the plague

Not really bothered which, furmark damages cards, even if the benchmark doesnt why use a product which can so easily damage cards when there plenty of better and more widley used benchmarks out there.

I gave it a body swerve soon as the warning popped up,just before running the program.

Ok guys, thread closed.
By following the instructions I gave, there should have been no problems with performing the test, but admittedly, the Furmark software does allow some pretty in depth and intensive benchmarks.

I'll post up a follow up thread using 3DMark 11
