Purchased HDD but will not fit in Tower Case

I have a "PCS GENESIS G1B CASE + SD CARD READER" which already has a SDD for the O/S and HDD for secondary storage. I recently purchased another HDD to sit along side but found that I cannot see any space to put it. I checked the specs of the case and it says:

1 x 5.25"
2x 3.5"
4 x 2.5"

The SDD is 2.5 and the HDD is 3.5 so I should be able to fit one additional HDD. When I made the purchase through the upgrade link on the web site I was not advised during the purchase that this would not fit. Can anyone please advise?

Thanks

Can you please post the full spec of your order and can you upload a photo (or several) of the available drive bays?
Hi there, Please see attached jpg of my original spec and pics of the pc case.

We don't know what the specs are from just looking at the photos you posted.

Follow this guide on how to post it :)

The other HDD should fit where the SSD currently is (see the 5th picture) and the SSD probably fits where its marked on the inside of the case (when you look at it from the left hand side - see the 2nd picture). Maybe there were some mounting brackets for the SSD slots in your welcome box when you got it - if not then it'll be tricky - maybe that's why it advised not too

They often just screw directly into the cable management side of the case these days.

I believe it's the 2 mounting points on the side directly above where the current drives are stored.

So just unmount the 2.5" drive from where it currently is and mount it against the side of the case above.

True, but dunno how old that case it, its a tad dusty :)
Was also basing it on the fact that the SSD writing is facing out from the CPU/GPU side :)

But yeah it could be either :)
Thanks for the comment about how dusty it is, I will speak to my cleaner

Could the HDD not be mounted in the 1 x 5.25" slot with adapter brackets, presumably in the upper right of picture one?
