REBAR not enabling

So after my own personal build suffered a mobo failure I decided to buy a prebuilt as I have too much going on in my life right now to get my old build up and running.

I got a 13700k setup with gigabyte Z790 aorus master and re4 crashed on main menu the first boot, and exoprimal has crashed multiple times. I did carry over my old nvme drive windows install so I updated all mobo drivers and have now jsut reinstalled the gpu driver.

What I have noticed is on this rig rebar will not enable. MY GPU has the BIOS to support it and my old rig used rebar, but this rig does not use rebar even though it is enabled in the bios.

Any ideas?

So I got my new rig 13700k, gigabyte aorus master. I moved over the RAM from my old 13700k personal build, which is cosair vengence 32GB DD5 7200MHZ CL34 and I am getting constant crashes in games. Before my personal build motherboard went haywire it was smooth as a whistle no crashes whatsoever, 100% stable.

Hiya, is this a pcspecialist system? Can you post your full specs from the order page?
Hi it is indeed.

I've had days gone running for an hour going to leave it idle running now for another 50 Mins or so. Exoprimal is crashing constantly. For some reason my GPU reaches like 71c which is still safe vs its usual 65 in my old case with worse airflow...

It would be great to get rebar working and see if anyone else is getting a lot of crashes in exoprimal.

I'm going to have to cut a ton of cable ties tomorrow to remove the side fan panel to install my HDD and route another cable for a 4080 FE coming tomorrow.

Well the hardware is well balanced, and the RAM speed is certainly supported by the board at 1.4 or 1.45V

It may be worth running a Memtest86 run overnight, see if it catches any errors.

Regarding REBAR, which BIOS is the board on? You can check within windows from "system information", I notice that the 3rd BIOS revision listed currently specifically mentions improved REBAR support with over 4Gb VRAM

Days gone has just crashed just under 2 hours of game time...

Bios is on F8

For some bizarre reason the PC won't boot into memtest86 after burning a bootable USB...

You need to install all those.

And I take it all windows updates have been installed?

Are you running any 3rd party AV?

At this point, I think we need to enlist the BSOD Doctor @ubuysa for his guidance.

Can you go through this and gather the required files, then put them in cloud storage and post a link? He's normally on in the morning sometime

I've noticed some memory settings in the bios, low latency, high bandwidth and auto something. I've disabled low latency and the auto something (too tired to remember it's name). Returnals actually ran for like 5 minutes now. Going to leave it running over night

Hold on, I just notice this, did you not do a clean install, just transferred your windows drive from a different computer?
Yep done it with my swap from my old personal build to new personal build, my other friends in tech have also been doing for years. Never had any issues.

I'm actually talking to a friend ATM who had a Xeon rig and upgraded to a 10th gen i5 still using the same disk with the same windows build. Been doing it for 1 year now.
