Replacement Chassis

If parts are no longer available from the manufacturer or OEM your only option is to try to find used parts, it’s not something we’d be able to help with. We can only recommend PCS or the manufacturer.

Its not as if you have alternative manufacturers that stock parts, these are specific to this chassis, only clevo make them.

Any system has a supported lifespan, this is why you really need to take care of equipment

I fear you may be a victim of built-in-obsalecense. Laptops are superseded within a year or two and parts production stops.

Your best option is to trawl online auction sites looking for another laptop of the same model that you can cannibalise for the parts.

With regards to the hinges, not all hinges are built the same, and plenty of manufacturers sadly cheap out on their hinges to cut costs. I would not be surprised if Clevo did the same on some of their models.

As for your options, I'd like to second the suggestion to look around for used parts. Managed to save my Proteus VII that way after PCS and Quanta stopped working together. Clevo models are pretty common, IIRC, so there's a good chance you'll find them somewhere.

Last year I had an accident with my Clevo N151CU laptop, which resulting in the hinges breaking. Both Clevo and PcS informed me of the part numbers to obtain the replacement hinges, however there is nowhere that I can obtain these parts. Its now been several months of trying to find the required hinges with no luck.
As apart from the broken hinges there is nothing wrong with my laptop and it is only 4 years old and was made to a good spec, is it possible to purchase a new case and have all the components from my broken laptop inserted into a new case?
If so what case would be suitable please?

This has already been advised, the advice is the same if it's parts or cases

The case comes with the motherboard and GPU, so would be quite a significant cost.

Your only option just for the chassis itself is to buy second hand.
