Replacement for my 9 year old computer

After 9 years my old computer is starting to become unstable.
Anyone know if theres a dalay on getting the 5950x?

I've already ordered this but its mainly for 3d modeling and gaming maybe a little rendering using a Benq xl2411 (might upgrade to a samsung odyssey montor)

Yes, there is a delay on the 5950x....there's a supply/demand problem on all the new AMD CPUs. Not sure what is happening with them with deliveries etc...think there's a thread around somewhere that may give you more idea

I'd change your wifi from N to AX as N is a very old technology. And possibly increase ram to 3200 or 3600 speed - not sure what's the max this motherboard support. I think you could get a better cooler...

Yeah the WiFi isnt that important I'm going to be hardwired its just for redundancy. I would have got faster ram but they dont offer 128gb any faster than 3000 unfortunately and I did end up changing the cooler to the H115i
