Replacing LL120 fans with non-LED

I have a pre-built PCS system which utilises Corsair LL120 fans. One of them has developed a rattling/vibration which sounds like a faulty bearing, although it's intermittent, usually on startup - sometimes it stops after a couple of minutes, othertimes not. I've cleaned the fans several times in case it's dust build up to no avail.

I have bought some Corsair AF120 fans as a straight swap, but with the LL120s being LED, I can't work out the cable management - I have 3x three strand black cables, one into each fan, which presumably are the power and which go straight to the MB - no issue. But there is an additional three strand cable with one of the strands being silver. I presume this goes to the Corsair light controller, but I can't trace it inside the case or see it on the controller on the top. Obviously I need to unplug it (I can't just cut the cable!); but where from?

Thanks

Could you post your specs please? This will help the experts know what they are dealing with as different cases etc may have different places for the light controller etc.

Also, if it's possible, post a picture of the inside of your case as someone may be able to point out what you need
