He was 74 and unfortunately succumbed to covid.

I didn't know his music well, I knew the big hits of course like "I would do anything for love" and "Bat out of hell" and really liked them, but never invested in his albums.
Where he did have a huge influence on me was of course his part in The Rocky Horror Picture show movie. That film changed my life, and I actually have a signed copy of the original release vinyl, signed by Richard O'Brien.
My Sister was heavily into Rocky Horror, and I got into it through her.
