Screen Issue

Hi guys, had my UltraNotice 15.6 inch for around 2 months now and the left side of the screen has gone funny. Here is a picture; not sure if it's a driver issue or something is wrong with the screen. Any assistant would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all. Untitled.png

Am I missing something or are you referring to something that isn't showing on the screenshot? If so it's something to do with the screen rather than the graphics card.

Woops, stupidly enough I didn't check on another device haha - will update later on but that means it's definitely a screen issue which is annoying!

What's the issue? blurry or lines?

Just got back and booted up the PC and all seems to be fine at the moment. It was pinky/stripy lines. Does this mean it could be a driver issue as it's not constant? Also, it was only on the left side of the screen not the whole screen.

Thanks

**UPDATED**

It's re-occuring again, this time when I specifically run a movie.

If it's not showing up on screenshots then it's not driver related, but with the physical screen. It's possible it's stuck pixels, if so it's worth running something like this:

JScreenFix: http://www.jscreenfix.com/basic.php

Info on it: http://lifehacker.com/225395/fix-your-lcds-stuck-pixels

I've never used it myself but looks like it's had good general reviews.

Thought i'd provide a quick video clip to give you a better understanding. Pretty sure it isn't any dead pixels or anything (and that application costs to use also)

SpyderTracks - You're famous!!!

As its the ribbon, you could take a look to see if its immediately accessible and if confident (as Spyder recommended) have a go at ensuring its properly seated. If it doesn't look all that simple I'd get in touch with PCS to either ask them to do it (RMA) or ask how to do it yourself and they will be able to talk you through it. You can point them to this thread too (or at least your youtube video) which might help them to understand the problem.

I'd phone for the speediest response :)
