Out of interest, anyone else order the..

750gb seagate momentus xt hybrid sata 6gb/s 32mb cache (7200 rpm)?

14th working day here, still in pre-production. Got told they were coming in on Friday, and they would work on my build over the weekend, but I've not heard anything since.

Nah sorry haven't got the seagate, I think my spec is fully in stock as it had the stock check marked as "Complete"

Happy to hear you've got so far quickly, samwil. I cannae imagine what I'd feel like if mine went that quick on the first day

Silver Serpent, guessing you're in the same boat as me e.g. awaiting stock?

Thanks Ionbow, and sorry for all the others that have been waiting so long! I'm sure PCS wont let you down and will have it with you by Christmas, read a few threads, they are working nearly double the hours apparently to deal with the xmas demand! Good luck with your orders, can't wait for my PC but also to see screenshots of other peoples haha :)

I think I'm starting to turn in to one of those paranoid long waiters haha. You see everyone else flying along and you just can't help feel a bit jealous! I would never begrudge anyone getting their laptop/pc before me though, we're all in the same boat. I guess some of us have been a bit unlucky with the stock situation, although in the same token I had a feeling that the HD I went for was going to be a popular was made aware of the situation once getting in touch.

Only prob is being told one thing e.g. stock was due in afternoon, being made a priority etc etc and not heard back 4 days since, so slightly worried, particularly as Silver Serpent has been waiting longer, as I'm sure loads of others have too. My guess is that the stock came in, but not enough for everyone or something.

Anyway, back to dreaming that Santa is doing the rounds with that HD extra quick haha! All the best with your build mate.

Not sure what is happening there then SS, have you tried to get in touch since?

Just gone in to building at 7 this morning, guessing that they've got the hard drive in stock! Wo0o0o0o

I was informed this morning that they are awaiting stock of the chassis (due in today) and my order will go through then.

Good to hear that yours is on the move.

what chassis did you go for then?

They just emailed me to say I'm through to the testing, can they really build it within 4 hours?! (shocked emoticon imo)

I ordered the Voyager II.

From building to dispatch can move pretty quickly, yes, so it doesn't surprise me about your build.

about it taking only 4 hours to build, You can build a PC within 30 minutes, to ensure it's probably fitted and fully functional though, taking your time is obviously key, 1-2 hours is probably a time to expect your PC to be built in, however you don't know their routine, they might have someone fit it, and then another person check it over and ensure everything is tip top and reduce errors, as it's only natural to make a mistake ever once in a while, this will probably be my final PC that isn't built by myself as i'm slowly going to upgrade it myself via pcspecialist as they seem to have a good upgrade system, and then I'll learn from there and maybe in 10 years build myself an absolute beast ;)
