Suggestions for a good pc for fortnite

Hi there! With this in mind, can you let us know if you have a monitor already? If so, what’s the resolution and refresh rate on it? The best graphics card in the world is no good if your screen can’t keep up with it. Will you be needing any peripherals like keyboard and mouse and are these included in your budget or not?
Also, will this PC be used for anything else other than gaming? Let us know and someone here should be able to spec you something appropriate.

Okay, if I’m right we’re looking at a 1080p monitor there. I think this spec should be alright for your needs but it’d be worth waiting for one of the resident brains to come and double check this...

It’s a little bit over your suggested budget but should be good for upgrading if you wished to do so. And if you have a few extra Euros, it’d be wise taking the silver warranty for peace of mind.

First of all, in order to get 240FPS you’d need a monitor that is 240Hz. Our good friend and very knowledgeable individual @Nursemorph sums it up really well here with a statement I’ve copied and pasted over:
‘It's a really poor visual experience, the idea is you reduce settings as low as they can go so it looks dreadful and lower resolution to 720p so you get fast framerates. Anything past the refresh rate of the screen can't be experienced anyway as Hz = FPS. It's only for the 1% of human beings who can actually appreciate anything over about 120fps.
If you've never played competitively and are looking for good visuals, then I'd say 240Hz is not what you need. It's banded about on YouTube by loads of people who are trying to mimic the pros without actually understanding what it means.’
So whilst we can spec you a system reasonably close to your budget, we wouldn’t recommend it. The budget will also be stretched by a fair amount if we find the monitor to match it. You’d be much better off saving up a little more and going for a 1440p 144Hz build. Let us know how you’d like us to proceed and we’ll see if we can help.
