temp readings best program? vortex 3 with 680m

Hello everyone i have had my vortex 3 for about a week now and while playing total war shogun 2 it keeps freezing and and getting stuck : ( the fans go nuts first then it just stops. i want to check the temps out on the 680m while playing and wondered what is the best program to do this with? thanks

Go in sensors & tick the log to file box.

thanks i just got it do u start it up and leave it running in the back ground while playing games? when i try to minimize it then shuts down? thanks for your help

hey dude,

theres a ticky boxy, that says "log to file" tick that, and you can read it afterwards. lol sorry just noticed narcotics said this too.

I'd consider a cooling pad mate, if the fans going mental its gonna be toasty.

But remember shogun 2 is both GPU and CPU intensive.

Thanks for the reply yeah i have done that had a few hours on shogun 2 battles and map screen and when i finished i checked the logs and max temp it got to was 85c im guessing that is quite normal for this type of card? average was 65c whilst playing. its a great game though hard but very good ! do u have the fots game? if you do is it worth buying?
