Thank You PC Specialist

I would like to say "Thank You" to PC Specialist for my PC, not only is it a massive improvement over my old laptop, but I'm playing my games that's at least ps4 equivalent with no noisy fan (My ps4pro can get quite load when playing games like Zero Dawn)

But not only that, its a lot faster when editing my photos in lightroom Classic.

And my pc is a great start to moving from console gaming to pc gaming, even though I played Diablo, Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XIV and Emulation of the old skool console games.

Why did I move from console to pc for gaming? Its because console are getting more expensive to the point where after the initial cost of the pc, the upgrade is the same cost or cheaper than console and the old games I owned on pc is still playable on pc. And don't get me started on modding.
Don't get me wrong I don't see anything wrong with gaming on console or pc, but in this day and age when you need to reperchers games you own on the last gen game console for the name game console, its just better and cheaper if I just use a gaming pc.

What I'm saying is while this pc was brought on a low budget, it is better than my ps4 pro and so quite, I love it, and the possible upgrade version.

Thank You PC Specialist.

Lord of Steam
I'm glad you're enjoying your new PCS PC. As one of the regulars here, it's always nice to see a satisfied customer.

One of the big advantages to PC gaming is there are many entirely legit ways to get very cheap or free PC games. Humble Bundle is a site that quite a few of us recommend as they regularly sell bundles of games with particular themes where you can get a number of games for not all that much money, and a percentage of the money goes to charity. For example, there's currently a Capcom games bundle when you can get 3 games for a little under 4 quid, with the full bundle being 12 games for about 23 quid. You can find that here https://www.humblebundle.com/games/...threes_tile_index_2_c_capcomsummer2024_bundle

I'm subscribed to Humble Choice which is their montly subscription service where I get 8 games a month for around a tenner each month. I've been subscribed for about 7 years and so I giveaway spare Steam keys if I already own the game or I'm just not interested. Have a browse through what I'm offering - https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/the-big-fat-giveaway-of-the-year-2024.95893/ - and let me know if you're interested in any of the games list. There's a real mix of big name games and indie hits. You might find something that catches your eye!

Well done. There are so many benefits to PC, real high end VR experiences (I know PlayStation have PSVR which is quite good), you can start to branch out and use it for other uses too, the upgradeability, and then it all leads you down to modding and customising which in itself is just so much fun as well as reaping rich rewards.

It's a journey you're on, and can only lead to great things.

As one that has been around computing for a number of years, I always limited myself with the thinking of "I can't do that", and the best attitude with any computing is "I wonder how I CAN do that", because really anything is possible, everything has a workaround, or a mod, or something to make it possible.

I'm really excited for you!
