The Big Fat Giveaway of the Year 2025

I'll happily take DREDGE if no one else claims it. I realise I've claimed a few games recently though so happy to give it a while longer in case anyone else wants it.
I make the rules up as I go along with the Big Fat Giveaway, but one rule I have stuck to across the years is that if anybody asks for a game in the first week it's made available, I wait a week to see if there's any further interest. As this copy of DREDGE has been available since a week ago yesterday, I'm fairly sure nobody else is interested. I'll send it your way shortly.

This post will probably attract the latest spambot and so may not actually be seen by those interested in some freebies, but I do have a couple of extra games I'm adding to my list. They're from another site I've used in the past and so I can't guarantee either will work if it's not me redeeming them. Still, the Steam keys may be of some interest to someone.

The games are:

Kardboard Kings: Card Shop Simulator
White Noise Online

👀 I see you

I think the crypto spam bot claiming wonderful hackers who host their site on an automated web tool for creating basic websites for those that don’t understand coding may have been nuked

A new month, so some new games from me. I was busy last night, so I didn't even get the chance to check out the new games, much less decide what I wanted. The new Humble Choice games are:

As you can see, I've claimed 4 and I'm offering 4 out to you lot. The games I'm offering are:

Corpse Keeper
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes
Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew
The Thaumaturge

Action Roguelites are a genre I'm into, but Corpse Keeper doesn't really appeal. It markets itself as being particularly challenging, and I prefer games on the easier end of things these days. Hopefully it can go to a sadist who is up for the challenge!

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is made by the lead designer of the Suikoden series of JRPGs and is very much a spiritual successor to the series. It's a good game, but too many of the 100+ people you can add to your party are a bit too similar to each other. Considering JRPGs are having a bit of a moment right now, you could do so much worse than to pick this up!

Shadow Gambit is a stealth strategy game, a genre which is largely dead and buried, so it's such a shame that after releasing this and it not selling all that well (but reviewing particulalry well) that the dev studio has closed down. This is one of the best games in the genre that I've played. It's my only strong recommend for this month.

The Thaumaturge is a CRPG and is an enjoyable time, but the story is perhaps a bit on the clunky side. Fans of the genre will certainly enjoy it I'm sure!

EDIT - the bundle also contains discount vouchers for Shadow Gambit DLC which I'll send your way too!
