Guys,

Am I right in thinking Dragon Armour is heavy? (So I can sell all the bones and skin for some cash to do up my house hehe!)

I believe there is a Heavy and Light version of Dragon Armour...one called Dragonplate and one called Dragon..something else...scale maybe...

I think they both use the same things.

I just hope I havent lost all my dragon bones/scales as I have just attacked Whiterun where they were stored in my house!

Thanks DeadEye. I may keep some then, although I doubt I'm going to get Smithing up to 100 and unlock all the perks as I'm focusing on other areas.

Dragonscale is nice, I'm currently using it... However I kinda feel that its pointless if you are light armor, reason being that if you are wearing light armor you have most likely opted to go with sneak and archery

I find that I rarely get into combat because of that fact alone, I tend to one shot most enemies with a sneak strike. That and dont bother making Dragonplate armor for your companion, Daedric plate is better when its upgraded plus it looks awesome

This. I rather use Nightingale armour with the Ancient shrouded gloves + Ancient shrouded cowl and i rarely get hit, and if they happen to detect me the ice form/fire breath shouts are really useful...

I have unlocked the Advanced Armours perk for Smithing - it says you can create scaled and plated armour. Although it has not revealed any new armour I can build?? Anyone know what armour it lets you create?

I got up to level 50 in Smithing because I thought this perk would let you create Dragonscale armour...guess not :( No way I will be maxing Smithing!

Someone tell me of any other game where you can - wake up in the morning in your new, fully furnished/upgraded house, go off to the nearby woods to hunt some Elk, Wolves, Foxes etc with your weapon of choice, come across a mine, slice up some bandits and harvest all the ore, come back to town for a drink in the bar, then convert your raw materials and ore into leather, iron etc and create your own brand spanking new armour and weapons, go back home and display your new creations on the walls of your house like trophies..then sleep.

Haha brilliant!! That's what makes Skyrim so amazing! :)

I do, well, Wait...better than trying to find stuff in the dark!

*This has nothing to do with getting scared when out in the wilds in the dark, at all, whatsoever, nowaynohow*

I find a lot of the caves and mines etc have lots of dark patches in where I cant see anything without using a torch or magelight - cant remember it being like that in Oblivion..

Minecraft! :3 Though it lacks dragons.. for now at the moment anyway.

Imo one of the best inclusions in Skyrim is the dragons and their random attacks on town, it destroys that "invisible barrier" between towns and the wild and creates this feeling of immersion that you don't get in games with "safe zones", even if it's done tactfully like with town guards. Perhaps not a common occurence, but it happens just often enough to give you that thrill as you rush to the defence of a town and the lack of scripting with them means that just about anything can happen (within reason, obviously the very important npc's can't be killed so you don't end up dooming the world like back in morrowind.)

Yeah I agree. That exact thing happened to me in Riverwood and one or two other places and it's very exciting! To see all the townfolk running around screaming and the guards come rushing in trying to attack it only to get killed. I love looting the bodies after a dragon has randomly attacked a town...lol :)
