lol trust me i been watchin videos all morning, no work done at all lol. Also I know a couple of people whohave bought it nto on pc, one on ps3 one on xbox. Mainly because they dont have a good enough pc to run it.

Have the bugs been fixed wih the menu system on it? I know in the review copy there were bugs on the PC version which sometimes lead to not beaing able to click on menu items. Also there are some bugs with not being able to finish quests due to character glitches.

I've run in to the menu bug once, where it stops responding to your mouse. Just have to press tab to close the menu then open it again. Also had one CTD when I poisoned an arrow with spider goo and shot it at a bear. It crashed as soon as the arrow hit the bear. Aside from that, nothing so far, though I've hardly played.

Yeah tbh, from what people have been saying its pretty rare that the bugs happen. The one annoying thing for me that a few people have mentioned, is lets say your having an epic battle against a dragon with a few guards. Mis aim one of your spells or arrows or something and hit a guard and you end up finding yourself fighting the dragon and the guards instead of them helping you. Thats the only thing apart from the menu bug that ive seen a few people pick up on.

I've had CTD twice altogether but between autosaves and me liking to save all the time anyway it's not much problem, and trying to design my character was a pure pain when i was turning the head, it would stop letting me change stuff so I had to change tab to say body, then back to hair, apart from that though its been fine.

If a game has a save feature (including an F5 Quick Save) i'm all over it like a rash :D I think at last count my Fallout 3 Save File had a few hundred saves, never mind the constant quick saving after I do ANYTHING!

Games that dont let me save annoy the hell out of me...I know some are designed that way for gameplay reasons, but I just cba to redo stuff if I crash etc :D

Yeah, if my years of gaming experience has taught me anything, it's that you can never have too many saves, since FF7 I think it was, I always have 2 saves for 1 game and save over them in turns.

Way OT, but its one reason Im not the biggest fan of the console style game hitting the PC, because they generally favour "save points" etc rather than "save when y ou like"...but that seems to be trend nowadays...

wow, this game is awesome. The first time you step out into the wilderness you kinda start to see how big it is. Love the map on it, its done really well, inventory is done great too, although I dunno if anyone else found this but because of the dual wielding now rather than block attack, I keep assigning things to the wrong hand, so i ended up switching the left and right mouse buttons. Much easier now :).

Is there a way to tell how long ive spent on the game in hours?

I keep going through the beginning of the game trying out new characters. I decided to go with a Nord with a bow and a 2-handed sword, but then I got shot with 3 arrows which all stuck through my upper body, one in the head, and they still hadn't disappeared an hour later so I restarted again.

Thanks, will download it in a bit, does it make much difference?

Not sure what my FPS was before, but it apparently sorts out SLI properly, I'm running 2 x 1GB 460's with everything maxed and I keep 60 FPS most of the time with lowest being 45 after the update, but yeah, nothing to compare to.

Well I just bought Morrowind and Oblivion about 3 weeks ago in preparation for the release of Skyrim.

Not played any of the Elder Scrolls game before, more into the RPG, FPS, MMORPG, online type of games. (Not used to playing with myself, erm !)

Morrowind now looks a bit dated but Oblivion is still looking good, and I have found it quite enjoyable so far.

Got about 25 hours or so into Oblivion and they damned well release Skyrim, oh well.
