I am not referring to my attempts at squeezing into size 32 denims but rather the effort it is taking me to stop hitting F5 on the order's page. It's been in pre-production since 15th March and yet i keep hoping that every jab of the refresh button will somehow quicken the build time of my machine. Damn you PCS /shakes a fist towards the monitor.

To be honest, it probably seems a bit much considering i only really play Football Manager 11 at the moment but i'm sure it'll prove its worth in the months to come.

Are you planing to overclock?? if not you could save some cash.
If not overclocking go for
ASUS® P8P67 PRO (NEW REV 3.0) instead of the sabertooth
Change the ram to samsung
and get the i7-2600 without the K,
Or change to the i5-2500 is you want to save even more cash
And you could go with stock cooling or the Triple Copper Heatpipe Cooler
You could also get rid of the sound card, as onboard it usually fine.

I think that as long as the stuff is in stock and in the pre prodution stage the changes would be free and the order shouldn't be delayed, its when it goes further then pre production where problems could occur.
Not 100% sure though, he could always call PCspecialist and ask, or email.

I'm not planning to overclock right this minute but i felt it a sensible option to have a build that would allow me to overclock in the future if i so wished.

Nope, pre-production just means it's in the (seemingly never-ending) queue to be built, will cause no issues at all if it's changed at this point.

Also whatever you decide Furious D (ie. whether to leave it as is or change it), I would suggest upping the warranty to silver for a fiver, well worth it

Just go to the website and check the spec for yourself
I've just input that same spec and it comes out as £1,105.00 inc VAT
