Two sets of stereo speakers?

Hello,

I have two sets of the Logitech Z200s and I figured why not try and connect both sets to my PC.
I plugged one set into Line Out and one set into Rear.
I have attached below what I see in the sound control panel.
It will only let me click 'configure' on the first set of speakers.
When I do so, there's the option for a Quadraphonic setup, and when I click that and then click 'test', all speakers will make a sound.
I have no idea what the settings on the next screen mean, but I tried a variation and it still didn't seem to work.
The second set of speakers only worked in the 'test' on the control panel but when I try and play something after configuring the speakers, only one set works.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is it even possible to use two sets of stereo speakers for a quad setup? Thank you.

You'll need the source you're playing from to have quad sound, so it should work for things like movies if you enable quad or 5.1 in the playback options (and if the source has that ability), but for music there are very few quadrasonic recordings, it was ditched a long time ago.

It may be better to set it as 5.1, you'll only be missing the front center speaker then, but that shouldn't really make too much of a difference. But if you wanted to make it proper 5.1, a decent center speaker can be picked up quite cheaply (ish).

This one is an absolutely incredible piece for it's price:

But see how you get on without one, should be perfectly adequate I'd think.

Thank you! I have changed it to 5.1, although I still only have one set of speakers working.
I went on Netflix to test it, perhaps I need to enable something?

You'll need to enable 5.1 on the source, so on netflix, you have to go into settings when you're in the video

And make sure it's set to 5.1:

That's on the windows app.

Got it to work on the Windows Netflix app but without the centre speaker, I can't hear the people in the show talking. Ah well, I gave it a try, those extra speakers were just sitting there anyway. Thank you for your help!
