Hey folks,

I've got the opportunity to add another GPU (there's a Titan XP going spare at my work) to my PC but I'll need a new PSU to manage all 3 cards. Can I ask some advice to make sure I buy the correct one?

Can I just swap out the 1000W Corsair PSU for something like this:

Thanks for any help!

We love you Ukraine
The GTX1080’s are only 160w
The Titan XP is only 250w

You should be fine with your current PSU

Unless it doesn’t have a third GPU input in which case the HXi series are brilliant PSU’s.

Hey, thanks for your reply.

I actually tried putting the Titan in my machine a while ago and it didn't power on. When I contacted PCS customer support they told me the PSU wasn't powerful enough.

I'll maybe try again, maybe I didn't do something correct first time round.
