Every time I open any adobe product I seem to have to wait an age for updates, cant you just leave it alone! "I can't believe it." No seriously its getting like every week.

You don't have to update it if you don't want. Just go into the Creative Cloud app and turn off auto-updates.

This is on my Mac, but there's a similar setting in the Windows CC app...
