hi, i bought pc 4 yrs ago
my specs are
case corsair icue 5000x glass mid smart tower
asus rog strix b550-f mb
AMD Ryzen 5 3600XT
32 gb 3600 ram
6GB ASUS DUAL GEFORCE RTX 2060
ssd nvm 500gb
CORSAIR 750W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS psu
5 fans/ want 2 more,
some mid range 240mm aio,

so, i want to change my gpu and cpu for some best combo for am4 socked, 12gb gpu 12 cores cpu, im not sure, for 1440p gaming maybe somthing better,, budget is 1k
do i need to change my psu too? will 750w be enough for new 360 aio, cpu and gpu, will i need 16 pin for rx gpu? or i read about 2x 8 pins in them and 16 pin is for rtx, i think i got this cable rn connected to my 2060, so there must be a 2nd one in the back. then i would go with something like rx 7800 idk, do i simply take watts of every hardware and add them together to to see if im in range? is this motherboard even good? what would u do.
regards

We love you Ukraine
it is, i already got bigger case, ram added couple fans here and there in preparation for main upgrade
You need to delete that image as it has your windows license in it

Just copy and paste and leave out the license

What's your max budget for the upgrades?

Where are you planning on putting the extra fans, as that build will have 3 at the front (i.e. full), 2 on the top AIO (so full), and 1 on the back (full again).

But as that case is quite small, you'll have to be careful with GPU length (max 300mm, and even that will be tight with the front fans).

For gaming, the best you can configure from the PCS update page will be the 5700X3D (MB may need a BIOS update beforehand). Whilst they're not our preferred coolers, I think you'd still get away with the FrostFlow 240 with the 5700X3D.

That PSU might just be enough for a 7800XT or a 4070 Super (assuming 1440p gaming)...but we're due a GPU refresh and prices have gone up about 10-15% in the last couple of months...so if you're not in a rush I'd wait until Q1 2025 and either buy a last gen GPU at a cheaper price or a new gen faster GPU at the current price.

If you've not installed any extra, fast SSD storage, then you'll see a boost simply by putting in a decent (fast but small, say 512GB) m.2 SSD as your boot/apps/launchers drive, and a slower, larger secondary one for games storage.
