Well I ordered on Friday and now it's time to play waiting game :)

Nvidia cards are generally hotter than AMD cards. If it gets within a few degrees of 100'C, then I'd be worried. Anywhere less than that is fine.

If it's worrying you, then alter the graphics card settings on the driver controls to spin the fan up faster at lower temps than default; eg 70-80% fan speed at 50-60'C.

Pre-production; 13th working day, 18 days since it processed... and counting.
No response from PCS live support. All I'd like to know is how much longer I should expect to wait!

Hey there!

I asked the question, as i ordered at the same day as you. They replied within 15mins with this "we install from a network image which generally has the newest drivers on it, we do not use the CDs"

So no they dont use the CDs that come with the hardware.

=)

Your case was out of stock when you ordered though and it's only been back in stock since Monday.

A friend of mine also ordered that case but much later than you, I will update you if his order goes in to building any time soon!

Try sending a message not via the live chat, I done that last week and got a quick response, hope you can find out what the holdup is!

Yeah, I anticipated the 2 week wait but now it's killing me! :D thanks for the heads up dude, I'll look further into it tomorrow evening if things still haven't budged.

Mine was pre production for 8 days and went in to building just today so maybe they are starting to get through the back log now, fingers crossed!

Hope they start building soon then, I changed my graphics card, sitting there looking at my spec for over a week I resisted the urge to change almost every component!

hahaha.yea mines on 10th day pre production. I just e-mailed them asking for a update, and they a waiting for the CORSAIR VENGEANCE® C70 Case. Which are due mid next week. They also put my order into building which i find a bit odd without a case o_O.

They did say you can change the case but I'd rather wait ^_^ the CORSAIR VENGEANCE® C70 is stunning.

So if any of you guys have chosen the CORSAIR VENGEANCE® C70 and dont want to wait until mid next week i would change it. Because i reckon the pc will be dispatched week commencing feb 4th.
