As above, it can vary and it's only an estimate. The current estimates on the website for a standard speed build ordered today is 12-14 working days.
The build and testing usually seems fairly prompt, so most of the time is often pre-production - i.e. the period where they haven't got around to starting it yet.
I wouldn't worry, but you can always phone them for an update if ever you believe there's an issue or cause for concern/

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I placed an order around the start of July and ended up in the same boat as you! I eventually contacted PCS somewhere around my 9th working day into pre-production as I was unsure if something was wrong with my order.
I got a quick response and was told they're currently experiencing a high level of orders at this time and they're doing the best they can. As frustrating as it may be, I had to accept lead times are nothing more than an estimate and it comes when it comes. I'm currently into my 12th working day and thankfully I've been contacted to say my build is now into the testing phase and should be with me shortly!

Thank you for expressing your concerns, I have had a look into your order for you and can confirm that everything is moving as it should and you have nothing to worry about. We are working through a little backlog as we have had a busy period and this has affected the estimated lead times a bit. Looking at your order I believe that you should start to see movement at the start of next week and from that point, it will be with you in no time!! If you don't see any movement at the beginning of next week please do give us a call, send us an email or send me a DM so that I can look into this further for you.
