Accidents will always happen. Don’t judge an accident, judge how they respond and correct it.

Shipping an assembled custom PC is NOT easy, those foam inserts are supposed to automatically expand to the available space, sounds like your one may have been defective. Also with a hole in the box sounds like the courier may have dropped it which is nothing to do with PCS

Give them a chance to make it right, believe me, a situation like this is the exception not the rule

Youre fully covered, you just need to create an RMA on your main web account under support. Take photos also of the box etc
I get that, but the fact that the bracket was just hanging on the graphics card with half the adhesive placed on the case it just shows me that QC and packaging was not properly done. I would not let something like that get dispatched if the bracket is just hanging on the GPU and especially not let the customer know that the bracket is not fitted or was not able to be fitted.

That's normal, the bracket will be placed in and the foam would normally keep it roughly in place, but it's for the user to fit once they receive the system. That's completely normal, you can't fit them before transit as it would likely damage the GPU with movement in shipping.

Got it, I spoke to PCS now and I opted for the replacement. You did it Spyder, talked some sense into me ha-ha. Cheers man!
The consultant I spoke to was very kind and I am feeling pretty good about the RMA and replacement

I’m really pleased, I know it’s disheartening and anyone would feel negative about that kind of thing.

PCS are generally excellent though with sorting out issues like this and they really are customer focussed which is quite rare in the industry.

Keep us posted, want to hear you’ve got a faultless system all booted up asap!

Nice big budget so we can have some fun here. There are a lot of enjoyers of different variants of the G9 on the forum, that model is available for a nice price at the moment, and can't fault stepping into the OLED world. If £3.5k includes the monitor we might need to a bit of trimming.
