True I do think the 5600x would be a great choice however its either that and the 3070 or 3600 and the 3080 i cant atm go both 5600x and 3080. Maybe in 3 or 4 months i will buy a 5600x or a 5800x when i can afford it. I think i will also settle for a 1440p monitor but will be using ray tracing...
So im going to order a new PC most likely tomorrow but i have 2 ideas for how im going about the build i just want your opinion on what you think i should get and which is better value for money. Both builds are very similar in price only about £15 difference. I will be gaming on a 1440p or 4k...
Hey just wondering i was going to use a H500 for a PC build in a few days however i no longer see it listed. Does it usually mean its just temporary out of stock or has it been removed? Also any alternatives that are great for air flow that are around the same price (£82)
Im not sure about the CPU comparison however the laptop has 16gb of ram which is better than the desktops 8gb, the laptop also has a better GPU and a very nice beefy NVMe, unless the laptop has temperature and thermal throttling issues then i imagine the laptop will perform better.
Really tbh you should only get a laptop if you are moving around a lot or dont have the space for a desktop. Laptops arent that upgradeable only ram and storage but desktops everything can as well as that desktops usually run cooler. Up to your needs
I feel like you should cancel or return your purchase if you can as currys prices are much higher than alot of custom pc builder websites such as this one and you will be able to get a better pc for the same price as you would spend at currys.
Since he will only use for gaming you only really need 16GB ram instead of 32 so that saved cash can be used to upgrade elsewhere. Might be a good idea to also up the power supply to 650 to be more future proof. I think it may be a good idea to go with AMD instead of intel with that budget you...
Fractual focus G ive heard is quite good for around £30 cheaper with good airflow 2 front fans and 1 rear fan. I think its a good idea to get a b550 board for better future proof. Also if i was you get a 5700xt rather than a 2070 super for a good chunk cheaper its very close in performance. If...
Sorry for late response. Me personally i would just get 16GB of ram but upgrade the speed to 3200Mhz for better performance you really dont need any more than 16GB for gaming. If in the near future if you plan to upgrade to the upcoming zen 3 processors it might be a good idea to get the 3700x...
