I get what you say but I reckon he's probably got his hands full with SpaceX, Tesla and Twatter - sorry 'X'.

PCSPECIALIST PayPal openly moving to selling personal data

Why the comments about Elon Musk? He was one of the creators of PayPal but has not been involved with it for years now. Didn't he sell it to eBay? Yeah he's a bit of a weirdo and has made some questionable decisions but any current PayPal shenanigans are nothing to do with him.

PCSPECIALIST Tech mistakes or correctness in hollywood

Yeah saw these, they were brilliant. They said that on CSI they would compete to get the most ridiculous tech into episodes. The 2 mashing the same keyboard at the same time takes the cake though. :ROFLMAO:

PCSPECIALIST RGB in fans, can't find where to turn them off

Many fans have a separate cable for the RGB than from the power. If that's the case you can just unplug the cable that controls the RGB.

PCSPECIALIST Music production desktop advice (£1000 budget)

You might want to look at your fan configuration. A fan controller might be required. There are YouTube videos that can offer advice. I would doubt that you need to replace your PC.

    PCSPECIALIST Check this spec

Over the years the pendulum swings back and forth. AMD is where it's at right now for desktop CPUs as the 14700 and 14900 CPUs are having serious issues right now as already mentioned. Here's a video from Hardware Unboxed: Intel tried blaming the motherboard manufacturers but the problem is an...

PCSPECIALIST Advice on build for Music Production & Video Editing - budget around £2,500

I would go with what Scott has advised. M.2 is the connector type - and supports the faster communication technology - nVME. They are about the size of a stick of chewing gum with the connector on the end. Older SSDs use the same SATA connector as HDDs. Though the data transfer rate is...

PCSPECIALIST will i be able to enable XMP myself in the bios if i buy from pcspecialist

Personally I would go with the 4080 with 32GB. Edit: And don't let Norton anywhere near your system. It was good many years ago but is little better than malware these days. I find Windows Defender just fine.

PCSPECIALIST will i be able to enable XMP myself in the bios if i buy from pcspecialist

On another note - you might want to consider using an AMD CPU rather than Intel. The high-end Intel CPUs have been experiencing stability and temperature issues of late. Intel at first blamed the board partners for not sticking to Intel default settings, which is part of the problem, but they...

PCSPECIALIST will i be able to enable XMP myself in the bios if i buy from pcspecialist

PCS are a System Integrator rather than a manufacturer. All parts are "off the shelf" rather than the proprietary nonesense that you get with the likes of Dell and HP. As SpyderTracks has said already, PCS will set up everything correctly (including enabling XMP). You'll be able to tinker...

    PCSPECIALIST RECOIL 16'' 2024 - PERFORMANCE TESTS & BENCHMARKS

As per your DM - you are running the 2024 Recoil 16 which is a different beast so it's really not worth the risk. The 2024 Recoil 16 is a complete redesign and has improvements to the water-cooling loop inside that specific laptop. The 16 is a different chassis to the 17 for the 2024 models. I...

    PCSPECIALIST RECOIL 16'' 2024 - PERFORMANCE TESTS & BENCHMARKS

I get what you're saying, I'll do a bit of digging to see if the 150mv undervolt is actually worth it. I might well go back to the PCS BIOS if the gain is negligible. It is rock solid stable though.

PCSPECIALIST Case parts for Cosmos VI laptop

The Recoil is excellent. You'll not regret it. If you go for a 4080 or 4090 model, get the watercooler as well.
