Going by the minimum specification of the hardware requirements for running Solidworks (taken from their site), I gave up trying to even attempt to put a spec together when the price went over £2k, as they suggest a quadro 4000 rtx gpu, which would cost approx £900. Now whether one of the more...
Well there is something obvious wrong because your average clock frequency is running at 487mhz. When I did a timespy test for my 6700xt average clock frequency was 2388 MHz.
Now given that the minimum frequency of the card is 500mhz, I'm not sure if being at 487mhz would be classed as running...
Can you open Windows Explorer, under the view option set it to display "hidden files" then navigate to the following location
C:\ProgramData\Creative\SoftwareLock
And post an image of the Files included there.
Also when you reinstalled Windows, did you just allow windows update to install the...
To be honest I've always subscribed to the philosophy of why restrict yourself to one word when you can use so many more. Even more so because which one word do you restrict yourself too. People say it's difficult to choose your top ten favourite films or songs, imagine having to pick your top...
The third option is to go for a 1440 build now and then save for the monitor, which as Spyder says will cost you between £300 and £450 at todays prices, depending upon the specification.
If you replace the 1660 with a 6700xt ( which I know is pre order) and as I am sure many will suggest adding...
I can't speak about the 1660 super from experience, only from what I've read, but this video should give you a good idea of its capabilities.
If you are able to get a 1080 monitor for free from work then I'd probably go for it as that will give you 12 months to save for the gpu and 1440 monitor
So misread that, thought you said Master Chef collection. Now I have this image of Greg Wallace and John Torodo in a series of 10+ games with hundreds of dlc.
I have to admit the only complaint I would have about the packaging was that the handle on the box was not strong enough, ie it tore when I picked it up following delivery.
Other than that I would say the packaging was just as good as any other pc I have had delivered over the past 25 years. It...
I've always liked the CK games, even if I'm not very good at them.
Only briefly tried one of the EU games (not sure what version) but it didnt grab my attention enough for me to persevere, and that's probably why I couldnt get into HOI much either.
Also played King Arthur Role Playing Game...
No, I think there have been a few threads on here asking the same, and the answer has always been no, you need to do a full clean install using the media creation tool

To be honest I received my pc a couple of weeks ago, so maybe the situation is different now, but my system went into awaiting despatch at 10:30 on a Wednesday morning, and DPD were knocking on my door at 9:15 am Thursday morning, so it was less than 24 hours for me.
So on my experience Monday...
I've no idea about all the different measurements as to whether one processor maker is better than the other, but when using the argument that I have highlighted in bold, I would say that a 10% better performance in average thermals is indeed miles ahead
That test was only using 16 of your 32 cpu threads.
The test you posted afterwards was using all 32 threads
I've very little idea about overclocking and benchmarks, but the number of threads being used in each test was what stood out for me, although of course I may be not be interpreting the...
