Given the amount you are spending I'd go the 1000w psu as its only £27 more, and provides you with that additional safety net of 150w.
From a very quick estimate on that build ( including your AIO and the additional fans) you are pulling between 650 and 700w, so your PSU will be running between...
Both those links give the same price of £1051 inc Vat to me
Are you able post your system as per the instructions in the link below

One of the m.2 drives on the strix is gen 4, the second one is gen 3. The Samsung Pro will be fine in the gen 4
Don't forget to upgrade your warranty to silver, only an extra £5.
Should be an option to send your own case in, I'd love to have a dynamic xl, but funds didn't allow me to go down...
The OP isn't really wanting a system, he's shopping for specific parts, hence a lot of the unusual options are just "throwaway" selections or at least that's how I've understood the post on his previous thread. Don't think he intends to use the PCS case.
Ideally this thread might be better...
You don't get all the separate boxes (or at least I didn't) but I did get all the manuals, cables, screws etc and even the tube of thermal paste. Think I also had small rubber plugs to blank of any of the ports on my graphics card. I presume that's what they are for, as they have the same...
Sorry to ask the obvious, but have you attached the antennas that would be in the box of accessories/manuals etc that came with your pc, to the WiFi card at the back of the machine.
They should look similar to the picture in this post...
The machine that I am using whilst awaiting delivery of my PCS machine has 2 X 4GB and 1 X 8Gb. When I first added the 8Gb stick, the pc was only seeing 4Gb instead of 16Gb. To get round that I just amended the bios to work on triple channel memory instead of dual channel, and am able to access...
Oh I agree. At the time I was just trying to reduce the price for the OP and after seeing Martin's post I just wondered why his build was more expensive than mine, as I misread what PSU he had chosen ;)
Was in the process of doing the same, ie changing the PSU, and then just spent 10 minutes trying to figure out why my build was £13 cheaper than Martin's. Finally worked out I had gone for the RM PSU as opposed to the RMX version
As per the the very first question in the general section of the FAQ on PCS website
HOW CAN I SEND IN MY OWN CASE
Yes, you can choose to do this under “1) SELECT A CASE”.
Please note that your case needs to be smaller than 600mm x 300mm x 630mm and weigh less than 24kg.
Please send the case...
I've adapted the build from @Steveyg
The reason for having two drives is to have your OS installed on the smallest and fastest of the drives, the second which would normally be larger and not as fast would have your main programs/games etc on it. At this budget with two drives you dont have the...
Is there anything in your old pc that you are planning to utilise, ie hard drives, whether mechanical or ssd etc.
I'd ditch the wifi card for now, as you say its something you don't need at present, and you can also buy a USB dongle in the future should wifi become a requirement. This would...
Sorry can't help with your cooler query, I'm sure one of the more experienced posters on here will be along soon to provide an answer.
As for the 6700xt, I'm not sure how many people on here will have any personal experience with that setup at present, however most reviews I've seen of that...
Of course as well as all the empty plastic cd cases below the hard drives. I believe they will be good for transferring any heat from the hard drives to my carpet :,-)
Current pc setup whilst awaiting new pc from PCS. The monitor keyboard etc is at the other end of my bookcase, about 5 foot away.
Before everyone goes omg, this is just a temporary build that I'm about to put into an old Zalman case and I was just testing it out, but couldn't resist posting...
Although of course an sd slot on a printer is still a storage option, even if no one is likely to use it as such. I presume an external card reader would show the same.
