Have you got a printer attached. If so and it has the ability to read sd/tf cards then that would probably account for the removable drive being shown

Thanks for the advice. I've dithered back and forth over the cooler whether to go AIO or not, and eventually decided that I couldn't recall using the Ryzen Master turbo boost function that often on last pc, so decided to stick with the air cooler for now. I may however be persuaded otherwise :-)
