Just keep in mind two things
A: it is not advised to mix rams, even if same model unless they come from specific designed kit, can cause instability
B: having more than 4 ranks will remove the CPU speed boost from having exactly 4 ranks, as far as I know. So ideally you would search for 16gb...
i guess i will see in tomorrow news, my friend was just 15km away from that tornado o_O she and her family is fine luckily. There was also hailing of the size of golf/tennis balls in other places. She mentioned they had hailing where she was at.
when i asked this chat myself month ago, Tove did give me clear answer that 16gb modules are 2 rank and 8gb modules are 1 rank.
That said someone in here said they are now selling 16gb 2 rank modules, so better be sure
Ranks is the amount of memory chips on the stick itself, and how they are connected.
Dual channel is how you connect the memory to the motherboard itself. Two different things
DDR stands for Double Data Rate, those are all the DDR memory sticks
Dual channel is when you use two memory sticks to run in dual channel mode. compared to 1 memory stick
Dual Rank is how many memory ranks are on the stick itself.

well the numbers are to give you an idea comparing different resolutions. The resolution you mentioned 1080p at 240hz is as demanding to run full potential as a basic 4k is.
People are suggesting to go 4k 144hz for that GPU, which is more than double the demand. So even tho the number...
1080p 240hz is 497 664 000 pixels per second.
4k 60hz is 497 664 000 pixels per second, so same.
4k 144hz is 1 194 393 600 pixels per second, so more than double.
Ultrawide 2k (3440x1440) at 144hz is 713 318 400 pixels per second.
Ultrawide 2k (3440x1440) at 100HZ is 495 360 000 pixels per...
