You can try that. Remove 2 of the sticks of RAM and try to use your PC again. Use it just how you always would, and get back to us if theres more black displays or not. If there isnt, then its unfortunately the same issue many others are experiencing with 4 RAM sticks paired with AMD CPUs.
If you want a PC solely for using things such as microsoft applications (word, excel, powerpoint, etc) then I believe you have no reason to be spending more than 1000 euros on a build. You’ll be fine with around 700-800 as all you’ll need is good RAM and HDD storage, and a decent processor such...
I’m assuming later this year once maybe the 3050 comes out? They’ll move to producing 30 series cards only, and it’ll be the end of the 20 series cards
The 3070 seems to have shorter waiting times, so if you amend your order to it, then you’ll find yourself waiting not as long as for the 3060 Ti. As Ash said, you may need a better mobo and the 5600X will require a better cooler.
If you plan on doing 1080p gaming, then I’d recommend you go for an RTX 2060S build alongside an MSI Optix G24 Series monitor (1080p, 144hz, 1ms and 24”) which comes in at £170.
If thats the case for you, then you may have to try and source the 3060 ti elsewhere if you’re able to - setting up a GPU in a PC is very easy, so it shouldnt be an issue. If you have the money for it, find a 3060 ti on retail, order it and get it then amend your order to an exclusion of the GPU
Dreaming of a miracle - 1000 3060 Ti’s suddenly come into stock...many builds are completed, most of us have our builds done, the others have their place pushed forwards by a lot in the queue, and we’d have our builds in no time. 😞
Yes, the ryzen 5 5600x would be a huge stepup from that. The build that junior showed you is really good - I recommend you take a look into it. This build will have 16 gb of 2x8 RAM, which helps a lot with the PC, and your daughters streams wont be laggy at all with it included in the build.
I think that AMD is generally better than Intel at the moment - as Junior sent you, you can check the AMD vs Intel post to see why. Summarised - Intel has security issues, and AMD is a more bang for your buck CPU for every gen.
With the budget of £1500, you can get a 3060 Ti alongside a ryzen 5 5600x which would dominate 1080p gaming, hence why in that case you’d want to go for a 1440p monitor if you’re interested in that. It would easily stream any game your daughter would want. If you’re not looking for 1440p gaming...
A decent 1080p 144hz monitor I have is the MSI Optix G24 Series from Currys for £170. I recommend you get atleast 3200mhz of RAM for an AMD based build since AMD works best with quicker RAM, and you may need to get a better cooler as the 5600x is a tougher CPU to handle, since its a new gen with...
