PCSPECIALIST Has my new HX1200 PSU fried my machine?

Hey,, I reset the CMOS and set the BIOS to it's optimised defaults, but the machine is still crashing. I don't really care about the overclocking, I just need my machine to work. Im a little confused now. How can installing a new PSU (then removing it and putting the old one back in) render my...

PCSPECIALIST Has my new HX1200 PSU fried my machine?

Hi, Sorry for the late reply, I ran a memtest overnight and that returned 0 errors. I reset the BIOS to optimised defaults but that hasn't helped, still getting WHEA BSOD errors. For me to reset the CMOS, Im not sure how to do that. Do I just take the BIOS battery out for a minute or two...

PCSPECIALIST Has my new HX1200 PSU fried my machine?

Hi all, I wanted to add a GTX Titan XP to my 2x1080Ti PC and I knew I needed a new PSU so I bought a Corsair HX1200 (my RM1000x wasn't powerful enough for the 3 GPUs). First problem was that the new PSU wouldn't boot my PC, so I though oh well I've got a bad PSU. I swapped the original one...

    PCSPECIALIST Multi GPU advice

Hi all, Im looking to get a machine with as much GPU oomph as possible, while still being stable. The purpose of the machine would be for 3D rendering (Octane and Redshift), so the GPU/s is the main importance for this build. The budget is around £5K. I was looking at the following spec...

PCSPECIALIST My spec for 3D rendering and Graphics

Hi everyone, I am in the market to buy a new machine which will be split between Cinema 4D / Octane Render - 70%, and Adobe After Effects - 30%. - Octane Render is a GPU renderer so thats why I went with 2x1080ti. - After Effects is a single core application so I was going to overclock the...
