You can save some money by transfering the Windows licence from your old machine if it is no longer needed.

Hi, I bought the system below about 18 months ago and I love it. I mostly use it for Lightroom. Before it was built swapped the 1TB M.2 drive to a 500GB and added a 1TB one. So it has Windows and Lightroom on a 500GB M.2 drive and my photos on the 1Tb drive. I wonder how easy it would be to swap...

Also, if you no longer need Windows on your old machine (you say this is a new editing one) then you will probably be able to transfer the licence, to save some pennies.

I expect others will chip in later. I suspect that they may advise a higher spec of GPU. Creative software is making increasing use of the GPU these days. Will it be Adobe (Lightroom?, Premiere?) software that you will be using? I specced a similar machine for similar usage, about 18 months ago...

So it sounds as though your Windows boot drive has failed - I'm no expert so if others offer other advice then go by what they say. Do you have access to another computer? If so it may be worthwhile creating a windows installation medium as described here...

With no external drives plugged in, when you go into the BIOS, does your Windows boot drive(presumably the M.2 SSD Drive 1TB PCS PCIe M.2 SSD (2200 MB/R, 1500 MB/W) show in the list of options?

If you have any external drives plugged in try unplugging them all and see if that helps.
