I just brought this game today and I love it. I thought it was interesting to see the similarities with the start of the first game in that it starts with you approaching a lighthouse in the middle of the ocean, but on entering instead of working your way down into the light house you are working your way up. The arrival at the floating city and walking through the cathedral, or whatever it was, was vary atmospheric indeed. I have just reached the statue that opens the main game and now I am walking around the fair. It's a great game.
Oh and I liked the 'Close Encounters Of The Third Kind' type of scene at the light house when the three bells are rung and the light and trumpeting comes down from above the clouds.
