Taking in to all account what has been said about 2 hard drives / SSD's, I've been wondering all week should I add another to my order?

For the 1st disk I have a 1TB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD1002FAEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm). Should I place a 2nd then I don't have to buy one at a later date? If so, what do you guys recommend?

Also, would it affect the pre production stage?

I don't think it would but do you need more than 1tb? Why don't you wait and see whether or not you need more space?

If its about to go into production at any time now i would not recommend you add anything to it. You may incur a charge and possible delay.
In anycase, adding an extra HDD is one of the easiest things you can do.

BUT

If you are planning to add in an SSD at a later date then the SSD would be your main drive, meaning you would have to reinstall windows again (onto the SSD).

So the choice is yours :)

EDIT - Now is a very vunerable time when your pc is ordered and you are waiting for it. Its human nature to constantly 2nd guess what youve bought, if you should add this to it or that. If i was in your situation i wouldnt bother with another HDD.

I was going to suggest if you 'did' want to add it in the future, and you wanted to maintain your warranty in one place (with PCS) you could choose to 'upgrade' your PC and add a hard drive. Of course, you could always purchase one elsewhere and add it in later too if you find yourself requiring more space.

Tgis might be a daft question but do I need anything to connect a router to the pc or does it already have an aerial in it?
I'm not sure what spec you finally ordered, but if you ordered it without a wireless card you will need an ethernet cable to connect it, if you did order a wireless card then there will be aerials for it in the welcome pack which you will need to attach when it arrives.

I got this when ordered it

10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT - AS STANDARD ON ALL PCs

That is just a standard network port on the motherboard ie. it is not wireless, so you would need to connect using an ethernet cable, or get either a wireless card or homeplugs if you can't connect to your router via an ethernet cable.

My dad says that it will work with the standard option?

Also, I'm not risking adding something to my order since it might put it back even further.

Yep, quite a few people just use the standard option still (myself included) - it's just a lot of people now expect to be using wireless which is why I mentioned the other options in case having a wired connection wasn't an option :)

Which model is the AMD Radeon R9 280x GPU ? I notice there's a few models and I'm wondering if PCS just have the 'standard' one?

Also I would love to have a GPU information thingy. Like this one but would it be compatible with AMD?
