This is ridiculous and control freakery. To be honest, if my pc breaks, they will take it back no matter what because it's under warranty and if it isn't then I would just go through my bank. I don't need any company to tell me what I can and can't do with the PC I just paid £2k for. It's just using us for advertising and why should we put up with that. PC specialist needs to change their stance because all this does is put me off buying another PC with them when the time comes. It's not like we can't fix our own PCs, we can. I may be a woman but I am capable of going into my bios and changing things. I am also capable of fixing my own PC. However, if a part breaks, they WILL replace it or be damned.You can’t flash the BIOS without PCS approval otherwise you’ll void your warranty.
