Surely the main quests would have a more definitive ending? If it has ended how are the remaining side quests? enough to keep you going?

I love the side quests, I got so many to do and done so many already, theyre all engaging so far, ive obviously had some of the standard, my name is this, i need this, from this place go get it, type quests, of which there are an unlimited number since they are auto generated in skyrim. Ive not had a shortage of side quests though, then again im only about 24 hours in.

Thanks for the info Frenchy. Looks like i'll go for Imperial hybrid...

As for your query in the kinect. I do remember one game Rise of Nightmares i think that requires you to step 1 foot forward to move and to turn you turn your shoulders. Not very intuitive and quite limiting though. Personally i think it would work better with a controller (as in Wii mote or PS Move) I think there is an upcoming game for the PS move that allows you to cast spells via movement (i think its called Sorcery) Maybe worth a look?

I've gone for the exact same character type - an Imperial battlemage, so much fun!

I've been doing side quests nonstop, I find myself getting side tracked everytime I go anywhere, always caves and dungeons to explore on the way to the objective, but atm I've got 55 hours. I find it a bit ridicules how I could get 100 in smithing about 30 hours into the game and since I've been roaming around with my Daedric mixed Dragon outfit and nothing can stop me, my daedric one handed sword has a damage of 70 without enchants.

Crafting a dagger gives the same amount of smithing experience as a chest piece. So I just kept making iron daggers, 1 iron ore 1 leather strap. They can be bought for nothing, and you get plenty of leather from all the wildlife.

Yes, I've heard it's pretty easy to max out in Smithing. I read it takes about 4 hours to get 100 in Smithing if you just make iron daggers non-stop!

Also, have you thought about increasing the difficulty if it's getting too easy?

So I recently just battled a Frost Dragon, I'm a hybrid sword & board / archer, level 20, and this thing gave me gamer rage to the max, it only needs to get me twice with its frost to kill me, and it eats me if im close at half health, so i could only use my bow to kill it, and i had to keep reloading, do a bit of damage, and quick save constantly -.-

Anyone else find these hard?

For me their as easy as the fire ones tbh, but mainly because im a mage and have my ice / frost aswell as my fire. I think I was a lvl 10 when I came across one and didnt find it too bad tbh, 5 minute battle max.

Actually leveling a bit now, but when I was level 1 and making my way from the first village to the first Jarl, I saw a giant. Now, thinking "oh, scaling right?" I attacked...

...he one shotted me!

Note to self, thing what are bigger than you will still hurt! :D

The frost dragons should be easy.. if your character is a nord he has like 50% frost resistance as a starting effect

"The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has only been out since Friday, but according to Zenimax, seven million copies of the RPG have already shipped,
and the launch is expected to generate more than $450 million in global retail sales.
You can practically hear the champagne corks popping from here."

Thoroughly well deserved in my eyes - no other RPG (or any game for that matter) come close :D

Id say BF3 is as well deserved tbh, although skyrim is now my life.

Also Id agree with that comment but id say no other rpg or game of the last 5 years. Things like Riven, FF7, Morrowwind all excellent games that are on par with if not beat skyrim in my eyes. Thats not to say that skyrim isnt a brilliant game though.

I have to say, after spending 60 hours on it, I'm a bit bored, feels like it's more or less the same. So gone back to BF3.

And this is my I prefer MMO's, can't wait for SWTOR. These sort of games get boring fast, they're not made to play a lot.

Not if you devour all the content immediately... I've got 20 hours in and I haven't even gone to see the graybeards yet, I just killed the first dragon and started doing quests for everybody in the city, taking a break between each one to explore the surrounding areas and any caves/dungeons/whatever I might come across.

I started off doing everything for everyone in Whiterun, and whenever I come across a dungeon of any form, I clear it out, my map is littered with cleared out dungeons since it takes 5-15 minutes to clear a dungeon out, certain massive ones like the Dwarf city etc take quite a bit longer.

Bit disappointed that the only guild designed around the warrior style forces you to do something not everyone will want, which I didn't want, so I couldn't continue (Not spoiling it for anyone but it's a choice I didn't want to take.)
I find that desision from Bethesda was a really spastic one, Why limit the only warrior guild?

I went with the Stormcloaks and well, finished that chain. Done quite a bit of the grey beards, Thane in most cities, just not the tiny ones. All this done in 60 hours. So the arguement that I haven't explored the world isn't a valid one becaues I have. As I said, my map is covered in cleared dungeons.

Don't get me wrong, All those 60 hours have been enjoyable but now I feel the game is drained. Just going to do the dark brotherhood/thief and mage guild with a mixed thief/mage character and do the Imperial chain then I feel it's been cleared. With all this talk about 600 hours into a character and I've done most in 60. Armour smithing to get the best armour the game offers before I even get level 20? Weak design. The game isn't challenging the player enough.

This sounds worse then it is. I loved Skyrim, I loved Morrowind. It's a great game, but I personally expected more of it, for it to cater a least a little bit more for us hardcore gamers. Seems it's more towards the casuals if you ask me.

Suppose if I look at it like this; World of Warcraft Arena PvP, It's something I've never been really good at, I'd concider myself above average on it but it didn't interest me much so never cared to improve, that said, WoW PvP is designed around the hardcore pvpers which take up about 0.5-4% of the community. Yet pvp class balancing is designed after the top level teams which ruins it for the majority.

If a game is designed simply around the better hardcore gamers, it'll not be a very good game overall. It'll be slated because the majority cannot enjoy it, nor can they experience the full game they've paid for. At the end of the day a game is designed around the majority, so I can't really fault them.

Without wanting to spoil anything either, that thing you were talking about is part of the warriors guild for a reason, and you do get the option later on to "solve" the issue. I dont think it was a silly decision at all, its part of the story.

Think it's very limiting, but oh well. Might just continue it so I can see the full story of it.
