I've said many times on here that WIFi problems can sometimes be traced back to electrical interference, and here is a wonderful example of the truth of that.
A CNN news report describes how an entire village in Wales had their broadband knocked out every time a resident (unknowingly) switched on an aged (and electrically noisy) television!
The lesson here is that if you're having WiFi issues and you've tried all the obvious things then it's definitely worth checking for other items in your home (or even in neighbour's homes) that could well be the culprit.
